About the Facilitator:
 Debra Synatschk 
Debra Synatschk is an Education Consultant for both Curriculum Mapper and WebGrader. Formerly, she was the Curriculum Director PreK-12 at Greenwood ISD in Midland, Texas. She was an adjunct professor for Midland College and taught Dual Credit American History to the students of Greenwood High School. During her 30 years in education, Debra has taught 5th-11th grade history, math, and reading, as well as gifted and talented classes.
Debra began the mapping process in 2000 with her former school district. After much research, she chose the Curriculum Mapper as the tool her district would use to map. They have mapped all core classes PreK-12 as well as electives. She brings the perspective of someone who has seen her school through the mapping process as well as working with schools for Collaborative Learning over the past three years.
